Mr. Loh graduated in 1978 in Civil Engineering. He spent a further 3 more years in technical research on the stability of the bracing for column structures. He was conferred with an MPhil in 1981. On completion of his research Mr. Loh returned to Singapore and joined a leading engineering consultancy firm, TH Chuah and Associates Pte Ltd. Five years later (1986), he struck out on his own and established his private consultancy firm, Loh Consultants Pte Ltd.
Since his younger days, Mr. Loh has pursued wide ranging interests as it is in his very nature to do so. He was never risk adverse and was ever prepared to take on challenges and venture into new fields. In 1993, Mr. Loh set up another company, ACP Construction Pte Ltd. The company specialized in the construction of hi-tech buildings and facilities targeted at the semi-conductor industry. His clients included large multinational corporations such as Siemens and its subsidiaries and Linear Technology.
In 2010, Mr. Loh went further to enter the solar energy industry. He established PV
World Pte Ltd, which was one of the pioneers in the nascent solar energy industry in Singapore. At this time, PV World was the only local company that boasted a highly automated solar module assembly plant. Unfortunately, a world-wide over-capacity in solar panel plants emerged shortly after. In response, Mr. Loh re-invented his business by moving into solar leasing development. To date, his company continues to operate a
number of small scale solar leasing facilities in Australia and Singapore.
Not one to rest and contented with his various ventures, Mr. Loh capitalized on his vast experience in the construction industry next and ventured in 2018 into the development of individual private landed property where the focus is on unique form and design and yet functional houses. Such innovative development of homes has remained his passion to this day.

As a consequence, Dr Ron cofounded a not-for-profit organisation called Nourishing Australia, in 2007, dedicated to educating and inspiring the public as the importance healthy soil, plants, animals, foods, people, and the planet….they are all connected
In 1998 he gained a Fellowship in Nutritional & Environmental Medicine (FACNEM) and has served on the Board of the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and is the Immediate Past President of that College.
In 2018 he released a book in Australia, the USA and the UK called A Life Less Stressed: the 5 pillars of health and wellness (Scribe Publications). He was awarded a Fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine (FASLM) as a result of the book.
The book explores his professional interests over the 40 years in 3 broad themes:
the politics of health care and the influence of the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industry in all levels of healthcare;
redefining stress as a combination of emotional, environmental, nutritional, postural, and dental/oral health stress;
building resilience by focusing on the 5 pillars of health (sleep, breath, nourish move and think).
Dr Ron’s weekly podcast Unstress Health with Dr Ron Ehrlich explores all of those themes and more.
In 2011 he founded a company called The Holistic Health Institute (HHI) which is focused on all of the above. In 2012/13 HHI received an Australian Government Research and Development Grant to develop a ‘health assessment tool’ based on the 5 pillars of health.

Determined to offer compassionate clinical experiences, dedicated to promoting health awareness and providing long-term support to empower patients to take control of their overall well-being.
I have always been passionate about helping and treating patients and I aspire to become an internal medicine specialist, specifically cardiologist. However, during my clinical rotations, I encountered many patients with chronic diseases and complaints that conventional lab tests and medications could not resolve. I realized that I needed more than just a verbal and short consultation to help them improve their lifestyle, which is often the root cause of their problems.
Apart from being a conventional healthcare provider, I would like to a lifestyle educator to inspire patients to reduce their risk of non-communicable chronic disease and even influence healthy choices for their family members, friends and even collegues.
